Thoughts from the Bishop

By Bishop Mawan Deng Dau

I heard two men of God prophesying prophecies about a war coming to Juba. We reject every war in the mighty name of Jesus — and the Bible shows us exactly how to answer a word like this, as Hezekiah and Moses did.

I heard two men of God prophesying prophecies about a war coming to Juba

God can speak to anyone! So, even if what they said was from God, then should we just accept it and get ready to see war again in December 2026?

Before I share what I am convinced that we should do, I want you to reject any possible war, reject that totally in the Mighty name of Christ Jesus

Not that God can’t speak to them, God can speak and I have witness to that. When the President took his first tour of Bahar Al Gazal in preparation for the upcoming elections, the presidential convoy had accidents including the car that was used by H. E the President, my friend Pastor Wally Moses, in Kampala received a revelation about it and he came to meet with the President

Apostle Felix Vigilio Minïstry also once shared a similar revelation! And even Prophet Kushmanda Abraham Kush gave a similar prophecy years ago

So, God can in deed reveal things to our South Sudanese

But in 2013, God revealed the fighting to so many men and women of God in South Sudan and across the globe

I reject any war, rumors of war, any declaration of war and I reject any plan of fight against anyone in South Sudan

No more wars in the Mighty Name of Christ Jesus

Biblical Way to handle such a prophecy

  1. 1

    In the Bible King Hezekiah of Judah, the story was mentioned in Isaiah 38: 1 - 22, 2 Kings 20: 1 - 10 and 2 Chronicles 32:24 - 26

God sent Prophet Isaiah when King Hezekiah was sick and the prophet told him that God said he should put his house in ready in order, because he will not live but die. Then the king heard that and when The Prophet left, he went back to God and cried bitterly and reminded God of what he had done. Then the sovereign God, sent the same prophet Isaiah to tell King Hezekiah that his prayers were heard and God has given him additional fifteen years to live

  1. 2

In Exodus 32: 11 - 14. When Moses delayed on the Mountain, the Israelite gathered to Aaron and said we don’t know what happened to Moses, can we now make for ourselves gods to go before us. And when Aaron made them do what they requested by making idols “ a golden calf “ and said “ Israel, here are your gods that brought you out of Egypt.

God told Moses “ I have seen these people and I know they are very stubborn, they will always turn against me, so let me destroy them in my anger and I will make a great nation from you. “ But Moses begged the Lord and said “ don’t let your anger destroy your people, the Egyptians will say God brought them out of Egypt to kill them….. The Lord felt sorry for the people and didn’t destroy them

I, therefore, plea with you to pray, do as Moses did, remind God of how he took care of us all these years until he gave us a Country we call it our own, and tell God we don’t want more deaths in Our Country but we need peace, development, education and a booming economy.
